Waters and Rocks on March 3rd, 2012

We've had a rainy few days here in the northeast USA so the waters are running everywhere.  Went to my favorite creek this morning to see what I could find.  And here are a few:

Surprisingly, the waters were not as muddy as I had expected.  And the sun was hidden so fairly long exposures were possible.  Lots of texture in the flowing water.

I always enjoy when the water is flowing well with lots of movement around the rocks.  It makes for an interesting picture.

The rock formation above is one of my favorites. 

At big step in the creek there were a number of little water falls.  And the water was very clean.  I tried to capture this very pretty scene of water spraying everywhere without getting wet.



 Today it was easy to capture the best of the creek. 

I'm looking forward to finding many beautiful wildflowers at this creek as the spring begins in a few weeks.
