My Friend's Garden

I love to photograph in my friend's garden - anyone's garden actually.  If there are flowers in bloom, I'll usually stop and see what I can find.  This friend happens to have some of my favorites.  An iris is impossible to walk away from.

Day lillies come in so many different colors - but they are the absolute favorites of the many deer I know.  Very hard to grow unless well protected.

This iris was so vibrant in its yellow color.  And it was raining so very hard when I saw it.  But who can walk away from an iris - not me.
